A look behind the Elevate brand journey

Integrating our three B2B divisions, and rebranding them to Elevate®, was a big part of our 2024 and we're keen to explain the rationale and the ethos behind the brand in a little more detail.

We’re thrilled with our brand new brand because it communicates exactly what’s great about Elevate®, celebrates our achievements to date, and gives us room to grow as we continue our journey to fully-fledged, infrastructure-owning MSP.

The issues

The Telcom brand served us well over our first decade, but there were issues cropping up repeatedly. And they needed solving in order for us to show the world all the good things that were happening within the business. Including…

Misspellings and confusion: Telcom vs telecom was a little confusing, as was the separation of our wholesale brand, GigaBritain.

Essential integrations: with three B2B divisions - Telcom, Luminet and GigaBritain - each with their own strengths, we needed to combine the three.

Service excellence: the Telcom brand didn’t yet reflect the levels of service we pride ourselves on, it had us established as a traditional ISP, which leads to…

MSP evolution: with a full suite of flexible solutions built over the past few years, we needed a brand that would position us as an MSP, one that provides the foundational connectivity too.

The strategy

Following a series of internal and external interviews, we heard loud and clear that people were frustrated with the telecoms market. In particular, they were sick of disconnected customer experience, slow response times and unnecessary complexity. 

As a relatively ‘young’ provider: we don’t have this. We don’t have the legacy baggage and corporate hierarchy that slows down and stifles the bigger providers. We decided to hold ourselves to this: making the entire experience easy, seamless, effortless and convenient. Our North Star goal became: ‘Service, uninterrupted’. 

So how did we translate that externally?

The visuals

Death to corporate blue: there was clear space in the tech and telecom provider market for a business that would move away from the blues and purples - and occasional reds - that we’re most used to seeing. We loved green to represent the new beginnings and give us a distinctive palate.

The FibreSwoosh: A connective fibre that runs through all of our brand. It represents the seamless integration of the new company and how that’s reflected in the customer experience.

The words

‘Ground-to-cloud’ is a big part of our new brand architecture, reflecting both our connectivity pedigree - fibre in the ground, rooftop wireless in the clouds - as well as the full wraparound support we offer businesses. It’s not just words, this is backed up by our own infrastructure and network engineers, our end-to-end network solutions, and our personal, hassle-free service.

We make seamless, secure, intelligent networks as effortless as they should be. From one ground-to-cloud technology partner. 

How we do it

By delivering a streamlined, seamless customer experience. We invest in things that don't scale easily like empathy and problem solving (the human things) and enable efficiency with things that do (like technology and infrastructure).
