The Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust owns and operates 160 sites across Greater Manchester and the North West. The Trust provides a wide range of services in the treatment and recovery of mental health conditions and substance misuse. From early intervention, to crisis care, from inpatient services to talking therapies; the Trust is responsible for keeping the minds of almost 3 million people healthy.
The relationship started when the Trust was looking to upgrade to 10Gbps connections, over three years ago, when we were all locked down and fed up with Covid.
With one of the major carriers initially appointed for the contract, the Trust had struggled for more than two years to get connected. And turned to Elevate to help. Within ten working days, we were able to take over the contract and get the connectivity delivered.

Our own engineers and owned infrastructure meant we could act fast to get the solution installed. A primary full fibre, 10Gbps line, with a rooftop wireless backup for true resilience.
So NHS sites in the Trust can operate, 24/7. Without worry over a critical piece of infrastructure going down and, of course, all the associated potential issues with patient care and risks to clinical services.
