St Helens’ brand new full fibre network is live

New connections and new business opportunities throughout St Helens

We’re pleased to announce the completion of a brand new full fibre network across St Helens, delivered in less than a year after our project to better connect the town began.

This new, state-of-the-art network represents a transformational investment in digital infrastructure, set to supercharge local business growth by bringing hyperfast, ultra-reliable business internet to St Helens Town Centre.

Backed by St Helens Borough Council and the St Helens Town Deal Board, and delivered by Elevate with management and technical advisory from Digital Infrastructure Specialists Founds Group, this game-changing network will help local businesses compete, scale and thrive in the global digital economy; a key part of St Helens Borough Council’s Digital Infrastructure Project.

The network is now live, enabling businesses and residents across the town centre to start realising its benefits and positioning St Helens as one of the most digitally connected towns in the region.

Building the channel opportunity in St Helens

On March 12th at the BrewDog Stadium, we’ll be hosting an official launch event alongside St Helens Borough Council to celebrate the new network. There’ll be many local businesses in attendance for a night of presentations, discussions and information about how this project is boosting the local economy and attracting inward investment.

Taking the network from contract to completion in under a year is a proud milestone for everyone involved, made possible by close collaboration between ourselves, St Helens Borough Council, and infrastructure and programme delivery experts at the Founds Group. This digital infrastructure gives businesses the speed, reliability and resilience they need to plan and scale with confidence, unlocking opportunity, attracting investment and supporting long-term growth across St Helens.
