Working with Flotek to make hyperfast connectivity affordable and accessible

The challenge
Before Elevate, the only real options for businesses in Cardiff looking for connectivity were ADSL or SoGEA, both heavily reliant on copper connections, as much of the city lacked full fibre infrastructure. Businesses had to choose between leased lines, which came with premium costs, or 4G/5G, which were more affordable but less reliable.
Determined that customers deserved better, Flotek became Elevate Wholesale's very first strategic partner when we rolled out our full fibre network across Cardiff. The network was built as part of a £7m contract awarded by Cardiff Council and the Welsh Government in 2024. So now, Cardiff’s businesses now have access to the high speed internet they need.
The solution
The partnership enables Flotek to provide high speed full fibre to the premises (FTTP) broadband & Dedicated Internet (Leased Line) services to 5,000+ Cardiff based businesses, removing the digital divide that previously existed in the city. Those businesses that previously relied on copper infrastructure, and suffered from poor internet services as a result, now have access to the speeds they need to connect and compete in today’s landscape.
