Investing in Cardiff’s digital future

This full fibre rollout is part of a multimillion pound investment supported by the Welsh Government’s Local Broadband Fund, and was made possible through close collaboration between Cardiff Council and the Elevate team.

Our goal? To deliver ultra-reliable, high-speed connectivity that gives Cardiff the infrastructure it needs to empower digital growth and build digital equity. From small businesses to larger enterprises, and from remote workers to digital innovators, everyone benefits from a better connected city.

Elevate at the Everyman

We marked the occasion with a fantastic launch event at the Everyman cinema, followed by drinks at the Botanist. Celebrating a major milestone for the city’s tech landscape, and a proud moment for Elevate as we brought our Hypercity model to Wales for the first time.

A huge thank you to FinTech Wales, our incredible partners, and all the local businesses who came out to celebrate with us.

What’s next?

We’re just getting started. Cardiff’s Hypercity status shows what’s possible when public and private sectors come together with a shared vision of progress. Stay tuned for more updates!
