DNS Filter
DNS Filtering is a type of web filtering that uses Domain Name Services to block threats at source, by intercepting rogue requests while the search is being made and before the user gains access. Hackers exploit these flaws to disrupt services, redirect people to malicious websites or steal information.
DNS filtering protects against this, checking every website request against a list of known dangerous or suspicious domains and IP addresses; no content can load before the DNS process occurs.
